FLO Ahmedabad, under the leadership of Chairperson Ms. Madhu Banthia, organized Diya & Rangoli making initiative for providing underprivileged children with hands-on skilling opportunities through diya making, helping them earn festive income while nurturing teamwork, creativity, and responsibility.
50+ Children from nearby schools participated after school and on weekends, engaging in molding, painting, decorating, adding wax, and packaging diyas. FLO Ahmedabad successfully fulfilled a corporate order of 30,000 diyas (5,000 boxes of six each), blending learning with livelihood during the festive season and creating a safe, joyful, and productive environment at Manav Gulzar for community children.
It is a part of FLO Sustainability & Inclusivity initiative, which embeds sustainable, eco-conscious, and inclusive practices across sectors through a women-led approach.
