FLO Ahmedabad, under the leadership of Chairperson Madhu Banthia, organised a session for demystifying startup investments at the Board Room, GVFL, Ahmedabad, in collaboration with Aarambh – Incubator of Anant National University. FLO Ahmedabad Startup Committee organised this event to equip early-stage entrepreneurs and small business founders with practical knowledge and strategic insights on securing funding and becoming investor-ready.
The session aimed to demystify the venture capital process and provide participants with actionable frameworks for building and scaling startups effectively. Also, the event was led by speaker Mr. Mihir Joshi, Managing Director, Gujarat Venture Finance Limited GVFL. He shared invaluable perspectives from an investor’s lens, helping entrepreneurs understand what Angels and VCs look for in startups.
They were guided through the entire funding process, from pitching and valuation to due diligence and post-investment growth strategies. The session saw active participation from over 25+ entrepreneurs. engaged in a Q&A session, where individual business-specific queries were addressed with clarity.
Entrepreneurs left the session with a clearer understanding of what it takes to raise capital and how to align their business strategies with investor expectations, and fostered a supportive environment for innovation and growth.
