FLO Chennai, led by Chairperson Dr. Divya Abhishek and Skilling Vertical Head Ms. Vanitha Venugopal, successfully organized the iTNT Hub Industry Conclave 2024, at Taj Connemara. The event, themed “DeepTech Investments: Bridging the Gap Between Research and Commercialization,” aimed to strengthen Tamil NaduÍs deep tech ecosystem by fostering collaborations among industry leaders, policymakers, startups, and innovators.
With 250 participants, including students, student-led startups, researchers, CSR professionals, and industry associations from across Tamil Nadu, the conclave served as a significant platform for dialogue, partnerships, and knowledge-sharing.
The conclave underscored Tamil NaduÍs commitment to global leadership in deep tech advancements and promoted CSR-driven collaborations and skilling initiatives. Industry leaders and policymakers engaged in discussions on leveraging technology to drive sustainable innovation while fostering talent development. The event facilitated key networking opportunities, encouraging industries to support startups and enhance workforce upskilling.
Notably, the conclave initiated critical discussions on the Tamil Nadu Deep Tech Policy, a pioneering effort aimed at positioning the state as a leader in deep tech innovation. The conclave attracted significant industry interest, leading to new collaborations through CSR funding, skilling initiatives, and innovation challenges.
