FLO Vadodara organised an insightful and impactful Cyber Security Awareness Workshop as a part of the National Digital Literacy initiative. Cybersecurity expert Mr. Mayur Bhusavalkar joined the session as the speaker to educate participants on the rising challenges of digital threats.
Mr. Bhusavalkar began the session by shedding light on the increasing prevalence of cybercrimes and the vulnerability of individuals in the digital space. Using real-time demonstrations and relatable case studies, he illustrated how easily digital privacy and data can be compromised if users are not vigilant.
The session covered key areas of cyber safety, including:
- Identifying phishing tactics and malicious links.
- Safeguarding personal information on mobile devices and online platforms.
- Practising safe behaviour on social media and choosing secure apps.
Mr. Bhusavalkar emphasised the importance of creating a culture of awareness and community vigilance. Around 632 women have benefited from this national initiative focused on digital literacy.
Overall, the workshop reinforced the value of digital literacy as a powerful tool to empower women and ensure safer navigation in the ever-evolving digital landscape.
