FLO Pune, under the leadership of Chairperson Ms. Anita Agarwal, marked the commencement of the Culinary Skill Development Programme for underprivileged women, under the project Empowering Youth through Skill Development Programme.
The programme was jointly implemented by Symbiosis International University through its Symbiosis Community Outreach Programme and Extension Activities (SCOPE), in collaboration with the Symbiosis School of Culinary Arts and Nutrition Science (SSCANS) and the Symbiosis Centre for Entrepreneurship & Innovation (SCEI).
Under the skilling initiative this programme focuses on certified culinary training, soft skills, financial literacy, and entrepreneurship development—aimed at creating sustainable livelihoods and economic independence for the participants. The programme will create a strong foundation for economic independence by combining technical expertise, confidence-building, financial awareness, and entrepreneurial thinking.
By the end of the training, participants will be equipped to enhance their livelihoods, increase earning capacity, and pursue dignified, self-reliant career pathways.
