FLO Indore hosted Acharya Mahamandaleshwar, and Dr. Laxmi Narayan Tripathi, a renowned Bharatanatyam dancer, actor, writer, and trailblazer for transgender rights, at the Indore Literature Festival. More than 100 FLO members attended the event.
Through a candid and heartfelt conversation with FLO Indore’s Past Chairperson and GB member, Ms. Meetu Kohli, and Startup Cell Head, Ms. Anupama Modi, Dr. Tripathi shared her journey, her fight for equality, her vision for a more accepting society, and how her work led to the recognition of transgender individuals as a third gender by the Supreme Court of India.
Her life story – defying conventions and breaking barriers, left a profound impact on everyone in attendance.
