Ankur Warikoo – Life by Design – Not by Default (National Initiative – Digital Literacy)

FLO Vadodara, under the leadership of Chairperson Ms. Shivani P. Patel, hosted an insightful and power-packed session featuring renowned entrepreneur, author, and digital mentor Mr. Ankur Warikoo, exclusively for FLO members. The session offered a deep dive into the evolving digital landscape and the mindset required to thrive in it, while also touching upon personal growth, finance, parenting, and future readiness.

Mr. Warikoo began by reflecting on his three distinct digital personalities across Instagram, YouTube and LinkedIn. He explained how each platform demanded a different version of him—Instagram showcasing relatability, YouTube highlighting depth and long-form thinking, and LinkedIn presents structured professional insights.

He emphasized that instead of resisting these shifts, he viewed them as opportunities to communicate meaningfully with diverse audiences. A significant portion of his talk focused on the future of AI and digital safety. He discussed the urgent need for families to adopt a safe code system—pre-decided keywords or verification methods to protect themselves from the rising threats of AI-driven impersonation.

He warned that within the next 2–3 years, AI would be capable of creating highly realistic digital versions of individuals, using their face, voice, and speech patterns to potentially deceive families. The audience was encouraged to prepare proactively for this new reality. Mr. Warikoo also spoke extensively about personal finance, investments, and the importance of building long-term financial discipline.

He wove this into a broader conversation on parenting and upbringing, stressing that digital literacy and emotional resilience were becoming essential life skills for the younger generation. Reflecting on his own journey, he shared candid experiences about his failures and achievements, his MBA, his bestselling books, and some of his most impactful quotes.

Through these anecdotes, he reiterated that success in the digital world was rooted not just in skill, but in consistency, authenticity, and the ability to understand platform algorithms.

The audience gained valuable insights into his digital education company, WebVeda, and the wide range of courses it offers.

He encouraged attendees to experiment, create regularly, and strategically align with platform behaviours to build a strong digital presence. One of the most memorable parts of the session was his story on cold emailing. He narrated an incident from his student days when he emailed a professor seeking help with a difficult physics homework question.

That single email not only earned him the correct solution—something no other student had achieved—but also taught him the lifelong value of taking initiative and asking for help. He connected this to modern digital networking, highlighting how cold emailing remains a powerful tool for growth even today.

Throughout the session, Mr. Warikoo reaffirmed the immense potential of the digital world—whether in career-building, income generation, entrepreneurship, or personal brand development. His talk left the FLO members inspired, informed, and better equipped to navigate the rapidly changing digital era with awareness and confidence.
