Storytelling Workshop with Asha School

FLO Jaipur, under the dynamic leadership of Chairperson Dr. Rimmi Shekhawat, in collaboration with Asha School, organized a specially curated heartwarming Storytelling Session for specially-abled students of Asha School. The session aimed to create a truly engaging and enriching experience for these special children. The workshop was carefully designed to foster creativity, confidence, and learning through interactive activities:

  • Storytelling sessions using prop cards, allowing children to express themselves and explore their imagination.
  • Flip card activities on community helpers, helping students understand the roles that people play in society.
  • Fun-filled games and dance sessions, which brought joy, energy, and team spirit to the day.

The children were fully engaged throughout, displaying curiosity, excitement, and a keen willingness to participate. For many, this was an opportunity to showcase their talents, communicate their ideas, and explore new ways of learning. For the FLO members, it was an inspiring reminder of how patience, encouragement, and inclusive guidance can unlock the limitless potential of every child.

Several members shared how moved they were by the children’s enthusiasm and resilience, emphasizing the significance of providing such interactive platforms. The workshop demonstrated that learning can be joyful, empowering, and transformative when creativity and inclusion are at its core. The Storytelling Workshop at Asha School was far more than a day of activities—it was a celebration of talent, expression, and empowerment.

Over 50 specially-abled students left the session inspired, confident, and eager to explore more, while FLO members carried back a renewed sense of purpose and the realization that every child can shine when given the right platform and guidance. This initiative perfectly reflects FICCI FLO’s commitment to inclusive education, creativity, and empowerment.
