FLO Health Initiative

This is a joint initiative of three committed partners – FLO, Coimbatore, International Center for Child and Public Health (ICPH) and Aravind Eye Hospital.

Spectacles provided by Aravind Eye Hospital and on the spot for Women 40 and above who have been identified with eye problems. In addition, intraocular pressure and blood sugar tested. Women for further examination referred to Aravind Eye Hospital.
The beneficiaries were 87 mothers and 81 children from low-income families of 17 villages. Eye screening took place for 1098 children and 62 mothers.
