YFLO Young Women Achievers Awards 10th April, 2013

Every year, YFLO felicitates Young Indian Women under the age of 45 who have contributed to society in various fields like sports, media, politics, visual arts, performing arts, entrepreneurship, community service, author, cinema and fashion for their OUTSTANDING ACHIEVEMENTS.

The purpose behind this awards ceremony is to promote entrepreneurship and professional excellence in women.

The felicitation took place on the 10th April 2013 at The LaLit, New Delhi. HEG of Rajasthan, Smt. Margaret Alva was Chief Guest and President of ICICI Bank Ltd, Ms. Zarin Daruwala was Guest Of Honor graced the occasion. The awardees were Ms. Bhavana Gawali (Politics), Ms. Vijaylaxmi Sharma (Community Service), Ms. Shweta Rajpal Kohli (Media), Ms. Roshni Nadar (Business Entrepreneur), Ms. Gopika Kapoor (Literature), Ms. Mithali Raj (Sports), Ms. Pragati Sood Anand (Performing Arts), Ms. Gauri Karan & Ms. Nainika Karan (Fashion), Ms. Shilpa Gupta (Visual Arts), Ms. Preity Zinta (Cinema) and Ms. Pooja Gandhi (Cinema).

It was the concluding event of Ms. Divya Suri Singh’s tenure. The Awards function was concluded by “The Change Of Guard” ceremony were Ms. Garima Jain was handed over the mantle as YFLO chairperson for the year 2013-2014. Our sponsors were Titan, Artt D’inox and The LaLit.
