YFLO BEJEWELLED JOURNEY WITH ZOYA Venue: Zoya Store, M Block Market, GK Part I, New Delhi New Delhi – December 15, 2009

Jewellery has been the best friend of a woman from the beginning of human civilization. With the advancement of time, the material of jewellery has changed, but a woman’s love for jewellery is still the same.

‘Bejewelled journey with Zoya’, a spectacular evening organized by YFLO at the Zoya introduced the members to the mystical world of polki and diamonds. The interesting and informative session unraveled the myths and realities that surround these stones.
Experienced gemologist Biren Zaveri , Manager-Stone Sourcing Departmnet at Tanishq , offered an insight into the journey of a stone in becoming sought after and its valuation.

Sangeeta Dewan-Head of Design, Tanishq explained the creative process of designing the perfect piece of jewellery. and went through the steps of jadau and polki jewellery making. she shed light on what to look out for when buying polki sets which was extremely useful.

Three master craftsmen were also roped in specially for the occasion who gave live demonstration of polki jewellery setting and the entire manufacturing process.

By the end of it we were indeed left STONED.
