World Environment Day: Plantation Drive

The Chapter celebrated the world environment day on 5th June 2018 by planting trees on barren land behind C-21 Mall to save Earth. This also added towards making a ‘Green Lane’ in the city. The maintenance of plants was undertaken by the Treasurer of FLO Indore Chapter, Ms Meetu Kohli. FLO members took the pledge to save the environment by planting more trees and support the ban on plastic.

The members also posted their selfies while doing plantation, artwork & creatives and ideas for sustainable alternatives to plastic on social platforms like Facebook, Instagram & Twitter to raise awareness among people. A contest among members was also organised, which featured clicking the best selfie while doing plantation. Three best selfie awards were given to Ms Chetna Rao Jain, Ms Ranu Jain Gupta and Ms Payal Agarwal, respectively in the next event.
