Workshop on Personal Finance by Gaurav Mashruwala BSE, Mumbai, September 3rd, 2010

Dear All, YFLO Bombay successfully held a Workshop on Personal Finance, conducted by Mr. Gaurav Mashruwala, one of India’s leading personal wealth management gurus. The workshop was held on Friday, September 3rd, 2010 at 5. 00 p.m at one of financial India’s most prestigious venues- the Bombay Stock Exchange in the heart of Dalal Street. After a short slide presentation on the history of this iconic venue was the commencement of Workshop on Personal Finance by Mr. Gaurav Mashruwala. Mr. Gaurav Mashruwala is a Certified Financial Planner practitioner. He is known for the columns he writes in various leading English, Gujarati and Hindi publications. His activities also include appearances on various English and Hindi TV channels, lectures and workshops on Personal Financial Planning and Wealth Management. He uses these media to reach out to a larger audience and create awareness about managing personal finances prudently. He is also a visiting faculty in various Management institutes. He is also the founder and public face of A Cutting Edge (ACE), the one stop shop for all personal finance products on assets and liabilities. This event gave all our YFLO members and participants the perfect opportunity to become aware and understand one’s own financial investment needs. It also helped us identify the right avenues for investments in the given economic and financial scenario. But most of all we got an insight to try and understand the importance of wealth management and start asset and portfolio building. This was followed by an interactive session between our extremely enthusiastic audience and Mr. Gaurav Mashruwala Since no one needs to teach us how to splurge money.
