Women’s Health Camp

YFLO Delhi held a Women’s Health Camp in the slums of Lal Bagh. We tied up with doctors from MD City Hospital who addressed the health concerns of the women attending the camp. The camp was conducted for women above the age of 40. Check-ups were performed on 100 women and doctors addressed the main concerns of blood pressure, diabetes and bone density. Medication was prescribed to 40 women along with follow-up visits scheduled at MD City Hospital. Dr. Mahkija spoke to the women about subtle lifestyle changes and recommendations for nutrition to improve health. This camp is the first of more such camps.
