WOMENS ACHIEVER’S AWARDS:WALK FOR A CAUSE & 11TH OCT PINK RIBBON

FLO, Hyderabad chapter honoured 12 remarkable women achievers from Hyderabad from 12 different categories who have done well in their respective fields.Chairperson Rekha Lahoti welcomed National president Ms. ARCHANA GARODIA GUPTA and all the national body members who came from Delhi, Mumbai, Chennai, Pune, Bangalore, Ahmedabad.

She thanked all the sponsors of the show as this was a fund raiser event for CSR and Women empowerment initiatives.

Past presidents present were KAVITHA DUTT, VINITA BIMBHET, KIRAN GERA, NEENA MALHOTRA, ANJANA SOMANY, Other chapter chairs present were RATI DHANDHANIA, VARSHA TALERA.GB members present were ARCHANA LUTHRA, JAYANTI DALMIA, RITU JAIN, ANUJA NARAIAN.NABILA and SHIPI ARORA were present.

Rekha Lahoti invited Archana Garodia Gupta to give her message ,later Newsletter was released by the FLO National President Archanaji, Rekha Lahoti and Newsletter head Aparna Reddy .Event started with Kathak dance by a Russian dancer who is the student of famous artist Mangala Bhatt.we had Anuj Gurwara as MC for the evening ,after the dance invocation ,Awards were presented to three awardees by pastpresidents,pastchairs, sponsorers followed by fashion show sequence by flo members ,designer was NIKHIL THAMPI.

To the beautiful music,and graphics ,members carried themselves effortlessly.show stopper was Actress Regina Cassandra. This was followed by second set of 3 awards presentation. This was followed by second sequence of fashion show ,the designer was Divya Reddy who walked the ramp with Actress Rashi Khanna.

Dr Raghuram of Ushalakshmi Breast Cancer Foundation spoke about cancer and importance of early detection and gave an AV presentation to send across the message that it is important for women to get regular mammograms done.

3rd set of three awards were present and 3rd sequence of fashion show was carried on well by the members wearing Designer Sruthi Sancheti s clothes.Show stopper was none other than SAINA NEHWAL.Last and final set of 3 awards were presented to Awardees and the final sequence by NEETA LULLA was fabulous.

The fashion show was well choreographed and 44 members in total walked the ramp for a grand cause. FLO CSR supported school children too were present along with the teachers to felicitate the Awardees.

We had 500 people attend the program and closed with dinner.On 11th morning 6.30am all the members of flo walked the pink ribbon walk at KBR park.
