Women Rising: The Unseen Barriers in Power, Politics & Otherwise

At the event, two NGO stalls were set up, showcasing a range of handcrafted products from AWCEM Foundation and Sneh Nivesh Foundation.

The first stall, organized by AWCEM (Atleast We Cannot Eat Money Foundation), featured a variety of eco-friendly jute products, including bags and baskets. AWCEM focuses on promoting sustainable living by offering alternatives to plastic, and their stall highlighted their commitment to environmental conservation through these jute products.

The second stall, managed by Sneh Nivesh Foundation, displayed an array of items such as Thaambulam bags, gift bags, and home decor items. This foundation emphasizes supporting marginalized communities and empowering them through vocational training and artisanal skills.

Both stalls offered unique, handmade products, reflecting the foundations’ dedication to promoting sustainable practices and supporting local artisans.
