Vocational Training Centre (VTC) Stall at Arti Bagdy Fashion Collezione (ABFC)

The Vocational Training Centre (VTC), established in 2016 by Flo Member Ms Nabila Avais, aims for the holistic development of all in-house resident girls of Anjuman e Himayath e Islam. By nurturing and cultivating soft skills, the center strives to holistically develop resident girls of Anjuman e Himayath e Islam by cultivating soft skills and igniting a passion for self-sufficiency and future livelihoods.

VTC had a stall in the Arti Bagdy Exhibition on 10th and 11th July to exhibit their products. The skills taught in VTC are patchwork, quilting and tailoring . Handcrafted products are sold, with funds reinvested into the unit. There were different products exhibited in the stall and included quilts, runners, scarfs and stoles .

Number of people impacted: 1000 women attended the stall over the 2 days
