Veerta Ki Goonj

FLO Amritsar hosted an event Veerta ki Goonj *Echoes of Valour* to honour the Panther Division on its Diamond Jubilee on September 30th, 2024. The event served as a special interface between the Army Panther Division and the Army Wives Welfare Association (AWWA).

The Guests of Honour included Major General Mukesh Sharma, General Officer Commanding of the 15 Infantry Division, and Mrs. Anju Sharma, head of AWWA. In attendance were distinguished dignitaries from various sectors, including the judiciary, civil administration, police, intelligence bureau, and BSF, along with over 2,000 officers, JCOs, jawans, and their families.

The event aimed to give a tribute to the Panther Division and their invaluable contributions of\ the armed forces to national security and resilience. It also featured a musical tribute by Tannya Khanna, Vice Chairperson and founder of Melody Home, and renowned musicologist Dipin Raj, celebrating the spirit of service and sacrifice. Additionally, a captivating performance by double amputee dancer Ablu Rajesh Kumar.

FLO Amritsar's event was a resounding success and a heartfelt tribute to the armed forces, highlighting the strength and sacrifices of both soldiers and their families. It also showcased FLO’s commitment to meaningful collaborations with AWWA and honoring the Veer Naris.
