Utensils Donation Drive Report

Under the leadership of Chairperson Raghushree Poddar, FICCI FLO Jaipur organized a Utensils Donation Drive on October 27th, 2024. The initiative aimed to support underprivileged families by distributing essential household items and bringing warmth and care to the community in anticipation of the festive season. The event took place near Kacchi Basti Area at Gandhi Grah Park, Malviya Nagar, Jaipur, and witnessed the distribution of utensils, food packets, and beverages, benefitting over 300 underprivileged people. FLO members and the Executive Committee came together, contributing a variety of items to meet essential household needs. The drive was marked by FLO members’ active participation, their collective effort ensuring the day was impactful and successful.

The success of this drive was made possible due to the contributions of numerous FLO members and volunteers. Oganised by Amikka Haldiya, who managed logistics and arrangements, ensuring the event ran smoothly. Anushree Dasot played a vital role in caring for the attendees and ensuring a seamless distribution process. Neeta Joshi generously contributed to the event through donations and helped secure the venue. Several FLO members donated utensils, household items, and other essentials to support the event. Ruchikka Dhoot, Suruchi Dhoot, Ekta Gambhir, Harshika Khandelwal, Swati Khandelwal, Nandita Mittal, Namrata Rana, and Mayanka Meel contributed items to the Daan Vahan collection, bringing valuable resources to the community.

The extensive list of donated items included:

● Kitchenware: Ice cream bowls, steel jug, thermos flasks, steel tiffin boxes, glass bottles, copper glasses, serving bowls, and a Diwali platter with diyas.
● Dining Sets: Tea sets, kettle, coffee mugs, casserole, juicer maker, sieve, Medu wada maker set, plates, and frying pans.
● Additional Household Items: Full plates, slippers, toys for children, school water bottles, lunch boxes, and a variety of glass jars, boxes, and purses.

Specific contributions were made by members who included:

● Raghushree Poddar – bottles, utensils, and various household items.
● Amikka Haldiya – utensils, shoes, and additional household goods.
● Ruchikka Dhoot and Anushree Dasot – utensils, shoes, and bottles.
● Swati Khandelwal, Namrata Rana, and Shobhana – contributed a variety of items such as glass jars, kadhai, thaali, tiffins, and flasks.

Event Highlights
● Volunteers worked diligently to ensure an organised distribution, with each beneficiary receiving items that could enhance their daily lives.
● Over 300 individuals benefitted from the donations, receiving much-needed household items and nutritious food packets. The event emphasized FLO Jaipur’s dedication to community welfare and provided a platform for members to give back meaningfully.
● The contributions of each member underscored the FLO spirit of solidarity, reinforcing the organization’s commitment to empowering communities through collective efforts.

The Utensils Donation Drive by FLO Jaipur was a resounding success, bringing together members, volunteers, and the community in a shared spirit of giving.
