Unplugged session with RAJKUMAR HIRANI

FICCI Ladies Organization (FLO), Jaipur Chapter organised a talk show Unplugged Session with the well-known director, script writer and editor, Rajkumar Hirani.

He said that though he has made three films with Sanjay Dutt – the cine actor opened out to him only recently when he was out of jail on a parole. He met him continuously for 25 days. Hirani said that there is a huge story in the life of Sanjay Dutt – his relationship with his father, his drug days, his career in films, his life in jail, etc.

The Director said that he had been wanting to make a film like PK – which touches on God and religion – for a long time. He is glad that the film has become a huge success and made a record in India in terms of the largest selling film. He also informed that the message behind ‘3 Idiots’ was that one should do what one likes and only the one will excel. One must be like the protagonist in the film – one who chases the dream.

The Chairperson of FLO, Jaipur Chapter, Ms. Apra Kuchhal said that movies from Rajkumar Hirani always carry a social message without missing out on the entertainment factor. His movies inspire us to live our lives on our own terms. Mr. Rajkumar Hirani’s wife, Manjeet, was also present during the show. On the occasion Hirani also showed the ‘unplugged videos’ of the making of movie PK.
