UNIQUE WEAVING PROJECT OF NORTH EAST

A milestone was set for FLO NE when Mr Bappaditya Biswas, the well known Textile Designer from Kolkata, visited Assam for the first time kick start our very prestigious weaving project with the help of Mrs Anjana Somani, secretary for crafts council, Delhi on 18^th June 2008.

The weaving projects are in progress at Rajapara under the guidance of our very own
FLO member Madhu Jain who is an entrepreneur in the field of weaving. We are proud to mention that she has been selected as one of the 25 women achievers of FLO 2009 at the
national level from north east.
