Tuition Center – After school training at Venkatpuram Village

The Venkatapuram After School Tuition Center, established in 2016 by Past President Sudha Shivkumar and Past Chair Meena Mohan as part of rural development efforts, initially launched with four centers. However, due to COVID-19 and other systemic changes, the program now operates a single center. The current project is set to run for one year, from April 1, 2024, to March 31, 2025.

Over the past five months, from April to August, the center has benefitted 225 students, with 45 students attending each month. The project has been supported from the beginning by a dedicated team and sponsors, including Past Chair Meena Mohan and her team from Ionixx, Past Chair Prasanna, Ms. Sakshi Sahooja, Varalakshmi Raja, Jyothi Thomas, Naina Shah, Chitra Gopinath, Shobha Mahthani and Shuchi Agarwal
FLO members contribute monthly to cover teachers’ salaries and fund celebrations for Children’s Day and Teachers’ Day, underscoring their ongoing commitment to the center and its educational mission.
