FLO Ahmedabad members participated in the Town Hall meeting, hosted by the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) Ahmedabad Branch, exclusively for women Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) at Hyatt Regency Ashram Road. This marked the first-ever initiative by the RBI aimed at empowering women entrepreneurs by providing crucial information on various state and central government schemes and guidelines.
The meeting featured in-depth presentations on schemes offered by the Industries Commissionerate (IC) department of the Gujarat Government, SIDBI, the Credit Guarantee Fund Trust for Micro and Small Enterprises (CGTMSE), and the MSME department.
Shri Rajesh Kumar, Regional Director of RBI Ahmedabad, and Shri R Giridharan, Chief General Manager of RBI, Mumbai, attended the occasion along with other dignitaries and a diverse group of women entrepreneurs representing various industry associations and bodies.
To better understand the specific needs and current status of women entrepreneurs, the RBI conducted a comprehensive survey. The Town Hall meeting provided a platform for women entrepreneurs to interact directly with top officials, and gain valuable insights into available support mechanisms.
