The Sky Is Pink

FLO Indore was privileged to meet the Chaudharys, the Real Heroes whose story inspired the film ‘Sky Is Pink”. The headstrong character that Priyanka Chopra Jonas plays, is the same was the real-life Aditi Chaudhary who inspired Priyanka Chopra and FLO Indore.
The bond and the struggles shared by the mother-daughter duo was very powerful yet emotional and it left us all in awe.
“If you can’t change your life, then aspire to bring a change in someone else’s” were the words of the young motivational speaker and writer Aisha Chaudhary.
The event became equally worthwhile by the presence of Shalini Gambhir, Head Donor, recruitment and data management, DKMS BMST foundation, India, who passionately explained the advantages and procedures of becoming a stem cell donor – ‘Stem Cell’ being a huge ray of hope for those fighting challenging diseases.
The true spirit of FLO was revealed when members come forward in large numbers to contribute to the good cause and it was really gratifying and admirable to see so many of FLO ladies registering themselves as stem cell donors.
