The third event for YFLO Kolkata was held on Saturday 27th June at the Shisha Banquets. The speaker for the event was Shri Siddharth Nath Singh- BJP National Secretary and West Bengal incharge, who spoke eloquently on the topic for the day- The Changing Face of Politics in Bengal from Left to Right.
Mr. Singh was accompanied by his wife –Mrs Neeta Singh.
Mr Chandra Kumar Bose (grand nephew of Shri Subhash Chandra Bose ) also graced the occasion.
The event began with an opening speech by YFLO Chairperson Ms Shradha Agarwal, followed by an AV on Mr. Singh. He was felicitated with flowers by Past National President FLO -Mrs Ushaji Agarwal. Mrs Singh was presented with flowers by Past FLO Chairperson- Mrs Shashi Prabha Jalan.
Mr. Singh took to the podium and delighted the audience with his candid views on the current political scenario and political parties prevalent in Bengal. He spoke of how Bengal being the link to the north-East is strategically important for the country’s peace. He went on to talk about how the BJP is following the motto of promoting constructive politics in the state and they hope to bring about more industrialisation and law and order in Bengal.
The event ended with a VOT given by YFLO secretary Ms Shrinidhi Bajoria who thanked all guests and members for attending and the sponsors for their support. In the end Mr singh was felicititated by Mrs Renuka Shah, Past National President and founder of Kolkata FLO
