Success with Significance with Dr. Dipak Jain, President (European) CEBIS

We were fortunate to have Dr. Dipak Jain share valuable insights from the remarkable journey of his life. A globally recognized marketing and innovation expert, Dr. Jain has served as the Dean at INSEAD as well as the Dean of the Kellogg School of Management. He also serves on the board of leading corporates globally.

His insights have inspired a generation of business leaders to pursue success with significance. He presented the concept of ‘Success with Significance’, where the purpose of a project or a programme must be significant for society or the nation at large, environment-friendly, while being financially self-sustaining through incremental revenue generation.

He urged us that in order to be successful we must be disciplined yet approachable, while keeping both our feet on the ground of reality and eyes on the horizon. He emphasised on cultivating the ability to anticipate events, cultural adaptability, analytical understanding and wisdom gained via synthesis.

Dr. Jain highlighted that, “legacy is one of Respect, Reputation and Resources but when you gain access to them, be gentle and carefully step through every situation and outgrow yourself and your expectations.” He inspired us all to look beyond success and aim for significance.
