FLO Chennai collaborated with Funky Fish organized its first fashion and jewellery event, featuring Ms. Trisha Datwani Anand and Ms. Pavithra Sagar as the esteemed guest speakers, with Ms. Aanchal Lunawath serving as the event’s moderator. The event was a unique opportunity to delve into the world of fashion and jewellery, guided by two leading experts in their respective fields.
Trisha, who works alongside her father in the jewellery industry, shared insights into the advanced technology used in jewellery design and forecasted that colour stones will be a significant trend in 2025. Pavithra, on the fashion front, discussed how elements like colour, pattern, print, and texture can make an outfit truly stand out. She emphasized the importance of dressing for the occasion, achieving the right fit, accessorizing thoughtfully, and maintaining a confident posture and appearance. Pavithra also highlighted that light makeup, healthy skin, and well-kept hair can enhance any look, underscoring the idea that confidence in one’s own skin allows for any style to be successfully pulled off, with a “less is more” philosophy often being most effective.
During the event, Trisha and Pavithra demonstrated their styling prowess by working with several prominent attendees. They styled Ms. Rachna Kumar, discussing the ease of coordinating monochrome prints and the complexities of styling multi-coloured patterns. Ms. Simran Darira was also styled, and they elaborated on the jewellery choices made for her look. Additionally, they provided commentary on the jewellery and outfit worn by Ms. Vimmi Deepak.
The event concluded with a Q&A session where Trisha discussed the nuances between natural diamonds, lab-grown diamonds, and American diamonds, and emphasized the importance of testing jewellery. She also shared her experience styling celebrities. Pavithra spoke about her journey with Funky Fish, her passion for fashion, her career, and her approach to managing her social media presence. Overall, the event offered valuable insights into the future of fashion and jewellery, leaving attendees inspired and informed.
