FLO Bangalore’s Literary Vertical convened its monthly book discussion, hosting 32 members at Chairs & Co. The selected title, “The Stationery Shop of Tehran” by Marjan Kamali, offered a compelling narrative of love, loss, and betrayal, spanning 6 decades from 1953 to 2013 and traversing Iran and the United States. The novel’s rich historical and cultural context, combined with the inclusion of Rumi’s poetic verses.
The discussion was moderated by member Ela Nobbay, who facilitated an exchange of ideas among members. The event offered an opportunity for participants to engage with complex themes and diverse perspectives. The Literary Vertical extends its gratitude to Deena Rodrigues for generously hosting the discussion at the inviting Chairs & Co. store.
