FLO Jaipur started a “Startup Series Initiative” that was held under the esteemed leadership of Ms. Raghushree Poddar, Chairperson of FLO Jaipur, on September 3rd, 2024. The event focused on startups, entrepreneurship, and business growth.
The event, hosted at Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan Vidyashram, Maharana Pratap Auditorium, Jaipur, was the ideal setting for thought-provoking discussions and networking sessions. Co-founder and CEO of Boat, Mr. Aman Gupta joined this initiative and sought to provide invaluable insights into the world of entrepreneurship and business exchanges, particularly catering to young minds, budding entrepreneurs, and the business community.
Key Highlights:
1. Networking Session: The event brought together FLO members, students from various schools and colleges, educators, entrepreneurs, and business leaders. This initial phase allowed participants to interact, exchange ideas, and foster connections, setting a collaborative tone for the evening.
2. Pre-Talk Session: The event saw active collaboration from the 9-Gems or sponsors who played a significant role by contributing to the pre-talk session. This allowed everyone to understand the various business strategies and brands involved in the event, fostering business exchanges and collaboration.
3. Featured Speaker: The highlight and the inspiring talk between Mr. Aman Gupta & Ms. Raghushree Poddar, who shared his journey of building a successful startup, Boat. They spoke about his entrepreneurial challenges, strategies for overcoming obstacles, and key takeaways for business investments, aspiring entrepreneurs and startups.
4. Inspirational Engagement: Mr. Aman Gupta not only spoke about business but also fielded questions from the audience, sharing personal insights on the broader aspects of leadership, entrepreneurship, and business growth.
Approximately 500 people benefited from the event, including 200 students from various schools and colleges in Jaipur and 300 FLO members and their spouses, friends, and families, who were engaged in the discussions and networking opportunities. Although there was no direct government involvement in the event, the initiative aligned well with national priorities of promoting innovation, entrepreneurship, and economic growth.
