Spontaneity in Art by Paresh Maity

A specially curated experience for YFLO members, a guided walk-through with the eminent artist Paresh Maity taking us through his journey as an artist and showcasing pieces from his body of work of nearly 32 years. We had an opportunity to witness the evolution of his body of work over the years and his experimentation with different materials -ceramics, bronze sculptures, paintings.

This was followed by an interaction with Paresh Maity and Ruchika Mehta, editor Hello! Magazine. They spoke about what goes through the artist’s mind while painting. How he draws inspiration from Picasso & Venice. Members also got an opportunity to witness first hand Spontaneity in Art through a few on the spot sketches by Paresh Maity.
