Spark Literary Meet: Fifteen Tables at TranQuebar

FLO Chennai, under the leadership of Chairperson Dr. Divya Abhishek, recently hosted the January edition of its quarterly “Literary Club Connect”. The event, attended by 25 attendees was organized by Spark: Movies, Music, and Literature led by Ashu Lodha and Priya Tulsyan. The featured book for this session was “Fifteen Tables at TranQuebar”, a collection of short stories by five Chennai-based authors: Bhavna Arya, Jaya Mahbubani, Ranjana Bagry, and Vinita Nayar.

The gathering at Café Fresco, was an intimate affair, with service provided by FLO member Ms. Soshna Ramanlal’s team at Café Fresco. Ms. Upasana Mahtani moderated the gathering with a mix of members and authors engaging in meaningful discussions. The themes explored in the book, ranging from domestic violence to the supernatural, resonated deeply with the members, sparking a lively exchange of ideas.

The event provided a platform for the authors to delve into their work and share insights into the creative process.
