‘Soil to Soul 2.0’ held on 4th of November emerged as a beacon of Bengal’s culture and charity, bringing together 25 artisans and 20 NGOs, propelling the marginalized into the spotlight. It became a canvas where support for the specially abled, economically challenged elders, and children combating illness painted a picture of hope and action. A testament to solidarity, the event witnessed all participants finding their efforts met with an overwhelming response, leading to a complete sell-out—a true measure of its resounding success.
We extend our profound gratitude to National President FICCI FLO, Shrimati Sudha Shivkumar, whose arduous journey from Delhi to Kolkata was a heartening testament to her unwavering commitment. Our deep respect is accorded to the Honourable Mayor, Sir Firhad Hakim, and Shrimati Ruby Hakim, the First Lady of Kolkata. Their presence and encouraging words have been a source of boundless inspiration to us all.
We also offer our sincerest appreciation to the Deputy Mayor, Shri Atin Ghosh, whose perennial support and counsel have been instrumental in the evolution of ‘Soil to Soul’.
We are thankful to Shrimati Mala Roy, MP and Chairperson of KMC, who, alongside Shrimati Sudha Shivkumar, provided a visionary outlook for elevating Bengal’s crafts to a global platform.

In sync with our national initiative to uplift grassroots communities, ‘Soil to Soul 2.0’ has been pivotal in crafting a marketplace that empowers individuals who might otherwise remain unseen, granting them the opportunity to showcase their products and talents.
This year’s edition saw an extraordinary turnout of over 700 members and guests, marking a day-long festivity of culture and compassion.
The enthusiastic participation of FLO members, friends and family made this Diwali not just a festival of lights but of heartfelt giving and community celebration for our artisans and NGOs.
