Sing For India

YFLO Hyderabad hosted Sing for India – Learn and Celebrate the National Anthem from January 24-26, 2025, to commemorate Republic Day. The event united dignitaries, educators, students, and music enthusiasts in honoring Jana Gana Mana.

Hon. Jayesh Ranjan, Special Chief Secretary, emphasized the role of youth in cultural preservation, while FICCI FLO National President Ms. Joyshree Das Verma extended her support. YFLO Hyderabad Chairperson Ms. Ridhi Jain highlighted the National Anthem’s unifying power.

The event featured an insightful session by Mr. Aubrey and Ms. Lorraine Aloysius, pioneers of the Come India Sing movement, on the historical and musical significance of the anthem. Air Force veteran Mr. Vasudeva Rao Yellapu launched the 1947-2047 Jana Gana Mana initiative, inspiring patriotism among youth.

A video presentation, Viksit Bharat 2047, traced India’s journey and aspirations, while a live quiz on the Constitution and history engaged attendees. The highlight was a choral performance of the National Anthem, symbolizing unity and national pride.

With over 25,000 students participating, the event showcased India’s commitment to preserving its heritage. The 1947-2047 Jana Gana Mana campaign, now extended online, continues to educate citizens on performing the National Anthem with precision and pride, reinforcing FICCI YFLO Hyderabad’s vision of fostering unity through cultural awareness.
