The much anticipated, yearly bonanza created much excitement amongst Jaipurites. The grand shopping fest ‘FLO Bazaar in association with Aspiration’.was a two-day lifestyle exhibition organized at SMS Convention Centre of Rambagh Palace Hotel, and inaugurated by Princess Diya Kumari.
It was a major attraction for its designer collection of clothes, accessories, home decor products and many other trendy things available in vibrant colours and beautiful designs. Talking about the upcoming event, Bela Badhalia, Chairperson of FICCI FLO Jaipur Chapter, said, “Flo Bazaar is an initiative to promote entrepreneurial skills among women. We have more than 70 women, participating from various cities across the country. Also, the wares by state’s artisans, who have been honored nationally will be given a special display.”
An ethnic Indian touch of shararas was presented by Xoaan by Priya R. A collection of Designer Suits, Sarees & Lehangas by Shubh Shree Studios. Mumla by Hemant Ambwani (Jaipur), Vastram by Anita Agarwal (Kolkata), Threads by Rita Bajaj (Mumbai), Style Secret (Mumbai), a stylish ensemble by Rosy Ahluwalia, a formal range of clothing’s by Colour Fab(Kolkata), Jinis (Pune & Hyderabad), Amit Talwar and many other labels that made this shopping festival unique and remarkable. There was also an excellent home décor range of Lets Check-in, Adbhut Interio and Code Silver.
Creating this event into an experience for the art lovers were, skilled artisans participating from national awarded craft council. These artists were specially invited to participate & exhibit their craft on a no-cost basis, in order to promote their art. Also there were other activities to engage in, such as workshops on wardrobe makeover by National and International Designers like Nathalia B. Araujo – a Brazilian designer, handwriting analysis, angel reading, enhancing craft – skills with Kalaneri art, Hobby Ideas, After School Club, etc and many other theme based activities.
As a Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR), FICCI FLO provided free space to NGOs namely DISHA, Rays, Hunar, Princess Diya Kumari Foundation. Last but not the least; there was a kids corner with Bumble B, devils n Angels, Chicks, etc and Thakur Ji Poshak collection by Yashoda Creations.
