24 FLO members from across Chapters participated in this unique evening of original poetry, which was the second instalment of our Tea Time Talk series started in July.
Memories and promises, anguish and hope, romance and history…the 100-strong audience in the Zoom Room revisited all the emotions of life through the words and voices of FLO poets. Oh, how it poured poetry that evening! Words of love and hope, expressions of power and realisation, subtle nuances, bold proclamations – from first-timers to feted ones, the poets opened up their hearts and talents in Hindi, Telugu and English languages.
And Hyderabad’s renowned poet Iqbal Patni with his gracious presence and graceful words added a special gleam with his Deccani poem dedicated, very aptly, to the power of a woman.
There was also a section for reading out the works of favourite poets and three participants availed this.
