Session with Mr. Rahul Bajaj (Advocate & Rhodes Scholar) & Ms. Ritika Sahni (Founder- NGO Trinayani) on “The only Disability in Life is a bad attitude”

FICCI-FLO Hyderabad Chapter had an interactive session with Mr. Rahul Bajaj (Advocate & Rhodes Scholar) & Ms. Ritika Sahni (Founder- NGO Trinayani) on “The only Disability in Life is a bad attitude” on December 13, 2017. The idea of this session was to create awareness on the lives of disabled people in the month of disability.

The Speaker Mr. Rahul Bajaj, born blind shared his experience and told that his disability of vision did not stop his progress in any way. It is the attitude of the abled people which creates hindrances for the disabled people. He mentioned that softwares like Jaws helped him immensely.

Ms. Ritika Sahni came with her disabled Band “Pehli Baarish” of 4 people. Two of them were blind and two of them were physically handicapped. She herself is a renowned Bollywood playback singer but prefers to be addressed as founder of NGO – Trinayani. She gave actual insights about how to deal with any kind of disability and requested all the abled people to come forward and help with a sensitive attitude so as to make a better place for the disabled people.
