Sanmar Livelihood Foundational Aari Course

FLO Chennai mobilized a group of 25 women for the current batch of the Sanmar Livelihood Foundational Aari Course for the Sanmar CSR initiative in Perumbakkam. The event was curated under the leadership of Chairperson Dr. Divya Abhishek and Rural Entrepreneurship and Livelihood Vertical Head Ms. Jyothi Thomas.

This entire batch was specifically mobilized for Sanmar, and FLO Chennai was chosen as the trusted partner for this initiative. The program is a significant step towards empowering these women by providing them with valuable skills in Aari work, a traditional craft, enabling them to become self-reliant and improve their economic conditions.

The women, many of whom come with their young children, reflect the community-focused approach of the initiative. The chapter’s involvement in this initiative showcases its commitment to creating sustainable livelihood opportunities and fostering economic empowerment for women in rural areas.
