SAM NA VARUNA

FLO Bangalore organised an event titled “ SAM NA VARUNA” on October 16th, 2024. Under the leadership of Chairperson Dr. Nupur Handa, 40 members from the FLO Bangalore started a visit to the Naval Dockyards in Visakhapatnam.

This 1-day experience offered an in-depth look into the operations and technological capabilities of the Indian Navy, showcasing the commitment that drives our national security.
Members explored restricted areas, including the Dockyard Operations Centre, Drydocks, and advanced Weapons Repair Facilities, culminating with visits to the INS SINDHUVIJAY submarine, INS MYSORE missile destroyer, and INS SATAVAHANA Submarine Training Facility.

The event was a resounding success as the insights from experienced Naval Officers on operations, advanced technology, and training left participants inspired and filled with pride. This immersive experience offered a rare glimpse into the heart of India’s defense, creating lasting memories and a profound appreciation for the dedication of our Navy.
