A group of 20 members from Hyderabad Chapter visited Vishakhapatnam, popularly known as Harbour city of India built along the sea-shore of the Bay of Bengal and is the port city of the State of Andhra Pradesh.
The city is a major industrial and commercial centre. It is famous for housing India’s biggest ship building yards, and for being the headquarters of Eastern Naval Command. The members visited a few industries, besides the Vishakhapatnam Port and Simhachalam temple. They also visited the University at Vizag and interacted with the students.
