Government of Rajasthan's Women and Child Development Department had organized a pre-budget counseling meeting, graced by the Honourable Chief Minister of Rajasthan, Shri Bhajan Lal Sharma Ji, Deputy Chief Minister of Rajasthan, Maharajkumari Shri Diya Kumari Ji and the Chief Secretary of Rajasthan, Shri Sudhansh Pant Ji.
FLO Jaipur Chairperson Ms. Raghushree Poddar, Past Chairpersons Ms. Bela Badhalia and Past Chairpersons Ms. Preeti Saboo attended this session, making impactful contributions. The primary agenda of the session was to create a constructive dialogue with women representatives, focusing on budgetary priorities and their alignment with women's economic and social empowerment.
Chairperson Ms. Raghushree Poddar delivered a brief on reforms aimed atenhancing the participation and representation of women in the workforce, thereby driving both social progress and economic growth. At the Pre-Budget Meeting, Ms. Raghushree Poddar presented impactful recommendations aimed at creating women-centric opportunities, promoting grassroots empowerment, and supporting the manufacturing sector.

1. Establishment of Women-Centric Industrial Parks: Proposed subsidized land for women entrepreneurs, access to advanced technology, skilled labor, and infrastructure. Suggested setting up a Nari Shakti Bank and mentoring facilities to aid women-led businesses.
2. Trade and E-Commerce Platforms for Women: Advocated for exclusive pavilions in trade fairs and dedicated e-commerce platforms to amplify the visibility of women entrepreneurs.
3. Mandatory Health Cards for Women: Emphasized regular health and wellness check-ups to ensure physical and mental well-being for women.
4. Women-Centric Fitness Centres: Advocated for fitness hubs offering yoga, gym facilities, and wellness programs specifically for women.
5. Solar-Powered Digital Labs: Recommended solar energy installations in schools across rural Rajasthan to enable digital literacy and enhance educational resources.
6. Minimal GST on Handmade Items: Proposed reducing GST rates on handmade products to promote artisans, handlooms, and handicrafts, fostering sustainable livelihoods.
7. Awareness Programs: Suggested mobile applications and awareness initiatives for women to access government schemes and financial benefits efficiently.
