A very successful tree plantation drive was held at the Ramlala Arogyadham Hospital premises from 4:30 to 5:45 PM under the excellent supervision of Nalini Sanwal, Chairperson of FICCI FLO Kanpur Chapter. FLO members sponsored the trees, and the following were planted on the campus: 40 Ficus, 40 Tecoma, 20 Ashok, 2 each of Bottle Brush, Amla, and Tulsi, and 10 Harsingar.
The guest of honor, Preeti Singh from Green Fingers, shared valuable and simple tips for plant purchase, care, and garden beautification. The event was organized by dedicated chairs, Nitu Singh and Anjali Agarwal, under the mentorship of Dr. Anuradha Varshney. They procured the plants from Unnao Nursery and ensured all arrangements were in place at the hospital campus for a successful plantation. Anjali Agarwal also provided insights into indoor plant care, decorative tray plantation with succulents, and plants that provide oxygen. It was an engaging session with many takeaways and a helpful handout for passionate home gardeners.
Past Chairs Archana Khaitan and Anuradha Varshney, along with 31 members, actively participated in the plantation drive. Special thanks to Niti and Ekta for assisting with registrations.
Total 31 Flo Members participated and 114 trees were planted.
