A phenomenon called “Kalki Koechlin”

FLO Ludhiana organised an INSPIRING & Mesmerising event Under the Chairmanship of Ankita Gupta. It was an illuminating Afternoon titled a phenomenon called “ Kalki Koechlin “. The event took place on 10th of July at Maharaja at Palace ,Ludhiana. Program started with the traditional welcome of the celebrity guest with the lightening of the lamp. The honourable guest was welcomed by Aman Sandhu & introduced by Shweta Jindal.

Chairperson Ankita Gupta & Past Chairperson Radhika Gupta moderated the event which was an enlightening conversation with the woman of strength & courage who endorses gender equality. When asked from the audience what freedom means to her, she simply said an ability to choose.

While talking about her skin tone she shared that she has a brown heart , though she was French by origin, she was born and brought up in a small village near Pondicherry and very much Indian by heart and soul. She also shared about her forthcoming projects like Made in heaven Season 2, and short film with Deepti Naval on Mother & daughter relationship.

The highlight of the event was that FLO Ludhiana’s collaboration with NGO UDAAN , to further the mandate of FLO . A six-month training and skilling program was launched by Kallki Koechlin. Vision of the program is to skill and train and provide placements to the underprivileged woman in various sectors .During the program the woman would be provided with digital and financial literacy along with small scale setups .Flo members would be undertaking the various skilling tasks . Our team has also associated with different hospitals ,fashion houses and computer institutes for this project .

The program aims at providing these courses to over 50 underprivileged women from different sections of society .
