Panel Discussion on Media as an Influencer

FLO Organised a panel discussion on Media as an Influencer, September 24, 2022, at FICCI. The panelists were renowned actor Poonam Dhillon; National affair Editor Times now Srinjoy Choudhary; Consulting editor WION, Gauri Dwivedi; media personality, Ruby Dhingra and renowned Bharat Natyam dancer, Pratibha Prahlaad.

The discussions centred around the all pervasive influence of media and how the society is both positively and negatively impacted by this influence.

FLO President, Jayanti Dalmia said, “We at FLO strongly believe that creating gender equality in content, workplace and management can transform the way media influences the masses. Media can play a transformative role media in achieving gender equality in societies by creating gender-sensitive and gender-transformative content and breaking gender stereotypes.”

“We aim to equip our members with adequate knowledge and skills in diverse areas and holistically empower them with the ability and the confidence to be able to exercise their power for the benefit of self or the community,”, she further added.
