Panel Discussion on Inclusion of people with Disabilities

FLO Mumbai in association with the US Consulate organised a panel discussion on Inclusion of persons with disability.

The objective of the “Equal Opportunity Policy for Persons with Disabilities” is to ensure that the persons with disabilities enjoy the right to equality, life with dignity and respect equally with others. This is in accordance with the Rights of Persons with Disabilities Act 2016.

Issues relating to equal rights and opportunities for the disabled persons from every aspect were discussed by the eminent experts representing institutions like CRY , World Bank , Government of Maharashtra , US Consulate ( Ambassador and CG)

There were 60 members who attended the discussions with high tea offered by Cafe Arpan run by differently abled children.
