Entrepreneurship is a buzzword today, but being a successful entrepreneur takes sweat and toil, and is often a daunting task for an individual. With the aim of educating young B-School students on the meaning, challenges and opportunities of being an entrepreneur, FLO-Uttarakhand organized a panel discussion that brought together renowned experts from diverse backgrounds to share their insights with the young minds and to motivate them. The distinguished panel of inspired students to challenge their assumptions and beliefs while pushing them to explore new possibilities. The speakers threw light on different aspects of being an entrepreneur. They encouraged the students to think out of the box and to choose their path out of interest rather than blindly going with the flow and not to be afraid of failure, as it is an important ingredient of success. The discussion was not only intellectually stimulating but also gave a much-needed view into being an entrepreneur to the young innovators and entrepreneurs present in the crowd. This forum also was the right occasion for the members to launch an Incubation Center for startups and to promote a startup culture. Mr. Harshit Malik, looking at the enthusiastic students announced Rs. 2 Lakh for best ideas, followed by Rs. 10 Lakh if the idea is executed.
