Orientation Meet with Drum Café India

The incoming chairperson of the FICCI FLO Ahmedabad Chapter, Dr. Rachna Gemawat held her first in-person event of the year 2022-23 on 7th April. It was an orientation meeting, an introduction to her team as well as an interactive session with all the members put together by Drum Cafe.

A firm believer in the philosophy of “Let’s do it”, Dr. Rachna Gemawat outlined the objectives of the orientation program and the direction it would take under her leadership. The theme for the year is “Be Phenomenal”, which simply put, is to be the best version of yourself.

Various innovative initiatives were introduced that would be undertaken during the year. They would be to create a social impact by providing financial assistance, skill building, and digital literacy to girls from weak socioeconomic backgrounds. There would also be a community outreach plan for the differently abled by providing for necessary skillsets and making them an integral part of society. Initiatives for the differently abled and holistic village development were also announced along with Member integration groups that promote networking among like-minded members. Several events, workshops, and capacity build programs are also planned to give opportunities to women entrepreneurs to network, learn and grow.

Following this, a special interactive session was planned for all the FLO ladies in association with the Drum Cafe, a leading team building and corporate events company. The Drum Cafe team went the extra mile in understanding our group and customize the drumming experience for us in a novel way.

The beat and rhythm reached a crescendo setting a musical note for the year. The expectations and excitement soared with the loud musical notes that emerged from 100 drums beating in synchronization ensuring an unforgettable experience. The members came as individuals and left as an orchestra. The new year had started with a bang.

The positive event was a perfect start to “Being Phenomenal”.
