Oral hygiene

FLO Indore hosted an enlightening oral health session at the InfoBeans Foundation in Indore. Led by esteemed dentist Dr. Nikita Bhatnahar, and this session aimed to educate young girls on proper dental care, maintaining their healthy smiles.

Dr. Bhatnahar, a renowned expert in her field, delivered an engaging and informative presentation an demohasised the importance of proper oral hygiene as a cornerstone of overall health. She explained the correct technique for brushing teeth, highlighting the significance of reaching all areas of the mouth to prevent plaque buildup and cavities.

Furthermore, Dr. Bhatnahar underscored the necessity of regular dental check-ups and professional cleanings. She emphasised that these appointments are crucial for early detection and prevention of oral health issues. For expecting mothers, the dentist provided tailored advice on maintaining oral health during pregnancy, as changes in hormones can affect gum health.

Addressing the importance of oral hygiene, Ar Vibha Jain Sethi, the Indore Chairperson of FLO said -“it is a matter of great pride for FLO Indore to contribute towards raising health awareness among today’s younger generation. Oral health is not just a physical necessity but the foundation of self-confidence and overall well-being. We aim for our young girls to be conscious of their health and take necessary steps at the right time”.

Members of the FLO Indore committee, including, Senior Vice Chairperson, CA Shweta Agrawal, Ar. Varsha Dagra, and Chavi Doshi, were present to show their support for this valuable initiative.

The session concluded with an interactive Q&A segment, where Dr. Bhatnahar patiently answered the attendees’ questions.

The session was a resounding success, providing the attendees with the tools and knowledge they need to care for their oral health throughout their lives.
