YFLO Hyderabad Hosted “Naayaab: A Journey Through India’s Opulent Heritage”, a celebration of Culture and Craftsmanship on September 6th, 2024. Led by Chairperson Ms. Ridhi Jain, hosted the grand event at Taj Krishna, Hyderabad. The event was carefully curated by Sh. Ajay Arijit Singh and Ms. Akansha Dixit from Craft Maestros, under the special guidance of Dr. Payal Kanodia, Chairperson of YFLO Delhi.
The event was honored by the presence of Shri Jupally Krishna Rao, Minister for Tourism, Culture, Excise, and Prohibition, Government of Telangana, who inaugurated the event by lighting the ceremonial lamp. Over 200 esteemed guests attended, coming together to celebrate and promote India’s rich cultural heritage.
In his address, Shri Jupally Krishna Rao emphasised the importance of traditional crafts in preserving India’s heritage and encouraged attendees to visit the rural areas of Telangana to witness the artisans’ skills firsthand and support their craft.
Mrs. Pinky Reddy, Past National President of FICCI FLO, shared her inspiring thoughts on social responsibility, urging the audience to “educate at least one child and plant one tree.” Her message resonated deeply, reminding all attendees of the power of individual contributions towards societal well-being.
Under the visionary leadership of Dr. Payal Kanodia, Chairperson of YFLO Delhi, the event featured over 70 exquisite masterpieces, including works by Padma Vibhushan, Padma Shri, and Shilp Guru award recipients. These pieces showcased more than 30 traditional Indian art forms, offering guests an immersive experience of India’s artistic heritage while enjoying gourmet delicacies.
“Naayaab” is a testament to YFLO Hyderabad’s commitment to preserving India’s cultural legacy, creating a memorable chapter in their ongoing journey to celebrate and support the nation’s artistic and craft traditions.
