MSME Awareness & UDYOG Registration Workshop Report

The MSME Awareness & UDYOG Registration Workshop was organized to empower and support entrepreneurs by enhancing their understanding of MSME registration and providing hands-on assistance. The initiative aimed to simplify the registration process and highlight the various government benefits available to businesses, ensuring that participants could navigate these processes efficiently.

Held on August 14, 2024, at the SGITS campus, the workshop featured Mr. Gaurav Goyal, Assistant Director of MSME DFO Indore, as the keynote speaker. Dr. Priyanka Mokshmar served as the Day Chair for the event. The workshop provided a comprehensive overview of MSME and Udyam registrations, offering practical advice and support to entrepreneurs seeking to understand and complete their registrations.

The workshop engaged 19 attendees, including 12 FLO members, equipping them with essential knowledge and immediate assistance for their registrations. A total of 35 registrations were recorded, with 9 Udyam Registrations completed on-site. The availability of on-the-spot Udyog Registrations allowed many participants to streamline their access to crucial government benefits and resources.

Key Highlights:

1. Educational Value: The workshop provided valuable insights into the significance of MSME registration and offered clear guidance on the Udyam registration process.
2. Personalized Support: Attendees received tailored support, enhancing their understanding and facilitating immediate registrations.
3. On-the-Spot Registrations: The availability of on-the-spot Udyog Registrations enabled 9 entrepreneurs to complete their registration efficiently during the event.
