Ms. Renu Kapoor, Chairperson FICCI FLO Mumbai Chapter invited as key note speaker by Franchise India for 'Startup Summit 2014' May 17th – 18th, 2014 Nehru Centre, Worli, Mumbai

Ms. Renu Kapoor, Chairperson, Mumbai Chapter, was a Speaker at the recently held START UP Summit in Mumbai. She spoke animatedly about the need to develop women entrepreneurs given that the most important characteristic of an Indian woman entrepreneur is her ability to work hard to ensure success. “Women entrepreneurs are the new engines for inclusive and sustainable industrial growth and are the rising stars of the economies of developing countries,” she said. Speaking amidst a distinguished panel comprising of Sandeep Katiyar, CEO, Century 21, Dheeraj Gupta, MD, Jumboking Foods Pvt Ltd, and Professor Rao, Chairman Centre of Entrepreneurship, SPJIMR, she spoke about the Mumbai Chapter’s strides in this direction with the setting up of an Online Business Consultancy Cell – Swayam – for women who have an idea but do not know how to convert it into a business model.
